There is an online library of free model assemblies, 3D Warehouse and users can also contribute their models. The program includes additional features like drawing layout functionality, which allows surface rendering in variable “styles, ” and it supports third-party “plug-in” programs hosted on a website called Extension Warehouse to provide the other capabilities.
3D Warehouse is an open library where the users can upload and download 3D models to share. The files can be downloaded right into the program without anything having to be saved onto your storages. In Google SketchUp for iPad, you can download models up to the size of 50 MB. Everyone can modify, make and re-upload the content from the 3D Warehouse without any charge. From 2014, Trimble launched the new version of 3D Warehouse where the companies may have an official page with their 3D catalog of products. Now Trimble is investing in making the 3D developer partners have more professionally models available in Warehouse. Google SketchUp designers may visit 3D Warehouse to create new products when designing their own.
